Chalice for Vocations

MISSION STATEMENT
- To encourage all our families and each member in your household to pray together, while intentionally praying/begging Jesus Christ, The High Priest, for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.
- To spark conversations and discussions about the priesthood and consecrated life among your family members.
How? Through a series of different reflection questions, prayer and organic family/friend dialogue about the Catholic (Universal) Christian Faith, which Jesus Christ founded upon
His Apostles.
DOES IT WORK?
Yes!!! The community of St. Anastasia have given many vocations (Sons and Daughters) to Holy Mother Church, as priests and to the consecrated life. Here are seven “proofs” that prayer works.
1. Sister Paul Emelia Brown O.P. (Consecrated 1961)
2. Fr. John Molnar (Ordained1962)
3. Fr. Robert Hoeffner (Ordained 1973)
4. Fr. Michael Woodcock (Ordained 1973)
5. Deacon James Sowinski (Ordained 1986)
6. Fr. Anthony Borrow, SJ (Ordained in 2010)
7. Mr. Nicholas Zrallack (entered Seminary study in 2016)
Who will be the next son or daughter of St. Anastasia Parish to respond to the Lord’s invitation to “….come and follow…” (Matthew 4:19)
