Catholic Scouting has been a part of the Saint Anastasia Catholic Church community for more than 30 years!

Catholic Scouting for BoysCatholic Scouting for Boys gives Cub Scout and Boy Scouts several options. The best way to explain this is to name the awards and summarize the program goals and objectives. The National Catholic Committee on Scouting operates under the auspices of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The program has been developed for Catholics of the Roman and Eastern Rite in communion with the Vatican, Rome.
Light of Christ the national award for first and second grade Cub Scouts
Parvuli Dei the national award for Cub Scouts and Webelo Scouts in third, fourth,
and fifth grade
Bishop's Emblem the local award offered to fifth and sixth grade scouts in the Diocese
Ad Altare Dei the national award for Boys Scouts in seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth grade
The Word and The Way the local award offered to Boy Scouts in sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth grade in the Diocese
Pope Pius XII the national award designed for Venturing Crew members and Boy Scouts
ages 15 and older -
Catholic Scouting for GirlsCatholic Scouting for Girls gives girls several options. The National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministry oversees the program workbooks and offers a patch of Women in The Bible and Women Saints. The following list of awards are available to girls from The Diocese of Palm Beach Catholic Committee on Scouting.
Guardian Angel - Daisy Scouts
Family of God - National award for Brownies age girls through third grade
Mother Mary- Diocesan award for girls in third and fouth grade
I Live My Faith - National award for Junior Girl Scouts in fouth through sixth grade
Queen of The Rosary - Diocesan award for Junior -Cadette level girls grades fifth
through seventh
Our Lady - Diocesan award for sixth through eighth grade Cadettes
Marian Program -National award for seventh through ninth grade Cadettes and Seniors
Spirit Alive - National award for Senior Ambassador girls in tenth through twelfth grade -
Catholic ScoutingIn addition to awards, Catholic Scouting offers a Duty to God Day, Prayers for campers, a national patch program, the rosary patch program, Footprints of American Saints, older Scout retreats and a Diocesan Day of Recollection. This is for all Catholic boys and girls. Each year in June, presentation of the emblem is made through the authority of the Bishop.

Brother Barnabas national recognition for long and meritorious service
Golden AAD a fund used to directly support the ministry of our priest chaplains who serve on the Executive Board. Significant contributions of $2,500 or more are recognized by a
pecial medal
Jerusalem Cross used to recognize participants who return to the Diocese and complete a mission project benefitting Catholic youth of their community and Diocese
Silver Saint George national recognition for the hard work and diligent hours supporting the Catholic Youth Ministry at the national level
Spes Mundi a fund used to directly support the International Catholic Conference of Scouting. Significant contributions of $2,500 or more are recognized by a special medal
Saint George used to recognize individuals in our Diocese for their significant contributions and many years of support for the Catholic Youth ministry at the local level -
