2012 DSA
The 2012 Diocesan Services Appeal “Stewards of His Gifts” recently launched in parishes across the Diocese. There are many ministries and programs supported by this annual appeal. Because of the DSA, and your generosity, the Diocese can continue to support the many aspects of our larger Church, including the 53 parishes and missions, and our 19 schools. The DSA is the primary source of funding for the Diocese, providing more than 70 percent of the annual operating income.

rito has recently sent a letter to all parishioners in an effort to raise awareness of what this money funds.
We are the Body of Christ in the world, called to be good stewards of the material and spiritual gifts entrusted to our care. Our faithful stewardship helps provide outreach to those who are in material and emotional need. Your generosity allows us to promote God's call to the priesthood, diaconate and religious life. Our Catholic Schools and Religious Education Programs offer instruction and formation for our children as they mature in age, grace and wisdom. Your support of the Family Life programs helps to strengthen our families, the Domestic Church, the first place we encounter God. Collaboration with our brothers and sisters from our various ethnic and cultural communities is essential. Communications and Evangelization efforts help promote the Gospel, the Church and the dignity of each human person from conception to natural death.
Our Lord Jesus tells us, "Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give" (Mt 10:8).
Together, with God's grace, let us strengthen our desire to be good stewards of God's gifts, caring for His creation and sharing His abundant resources.
St. Anastasia's DSA goal is $132,500 for 2012. This is a $1,500 decrease from the 2011 goal of $134,000. A total of 870 families out of the 1,271 registered families participated in the 2011 DSA. While our shortfalls for the DSA have decreased in the past 2 years, we are hopeful that 2012 will leave us with NO shortfall.
As of March 30, $77,366 was been paid/pledged. This means we have reached nearly 60% of our goal. Please prayerfully consider contributing to our 2012 DSA goal. Your support is greatly appreciated!
