The 3rd Sunday of Lent
Presider:
God the Almighty Fathers hears our cries and knows well what we are suffering. With full confidence we turn to him with our prayers.
Leader:
Our response is: Lord hear our prayer.
That during this Year for Priests, Pope Benedict and all priests may glorify God by continuing to bear much spiritual fruit.
We Pray to the Lord.
For those preparing to enter the Church at Easter who receive today the First Scrutiny: that they may find in the Creed of the Church the sustenance to live life to the fullest.
We pray to the Lord.
In thanksgiving for the Lord blessing us with 100 years of St. Anastasia Parish as a Catholic faith community.
We Pray to the Lord.
That through our faithful response of stewardship to the Diocesan Services Appeal and in our parish offertory, we might live as true disciples of the risen Lord,
We pray to the Lord.
For the safety of our Military men and women serving in harms way through out the world, especially in Afghanistan and Iraq.
We pray to the Lord.
Presider:
Most merciful Father, we believe that the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Help us in our weakness and need.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
